Members of the wider Tipperary community have been invited to attend an major free event in Thurles next Thursday about Age Friendly services.
The event is arranged by the Tipperary Age Friendly organisation and will take place in TUS formerly the LIT College Campus on the Nenagh Road Thurles.
The event will run from noon to 3pm on Thursday 23rd June – there will be over 40 exhibitors and 10 guest speakers during the day.
Free transport by bus is also available for those that would like to attend. The buses will depart from Cahir, Carrick on Suir, Roscrea, Tipperary town and Nenagh and will collect passengers along the route to Thurles.
The EXPO will feature information stands & presentations of topics such as Fire Safety, Fair Deal Scheme, Living Well with Dementia, Mindfulness and technologies available to support people to live independently in their own home.
Information about hobbies and activities will also feature at the event.
The event is free of charge to attend, light refreshments will be provided.
