10,000 euro is being allocated to a village in West Tipperary.
The capital will go towards design for regeneration of the village street scape and vital upgrade works including the installation of traffic calming measures.
The funds were recently approved at a council meeting.
Councillor Declan Burgess is welcoming the allocation and says the design is important for Knockavilla.
The Fine Gael councillor says following on from this work, he believe it’s key that Tipperary County Council submits a funding application to the Town & Village Renewal scheme
Councillor Burgess is urging the council team to engage with the local community and to ensure community consultation takes place.
