The local authority have granted planning approval to erect a plaque to the memory of Cumann na mBan in Cashel.
The applicant Third Tipperary Brigade Old IRA Commemorative Committee says it also represents all the other valiant, patriotic women who participated in the for a free Ireland.
The plaque will be placed outside the Cashel Civic Offices, Roselawn Close/Friar Street in Cashel.
There are two conditions attached to planning permission approval.
