The South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association assist walker in Comeragh Mountains.
The walker suffered a lower leg injury descending from Coumshingaun.
The initial tasking came from An Garda Síochána yesterday afternoon.
SEMRA provided medical treatment and pain relief and stretchered the casualty down off the hill to waiting National Ambulance Service (NAS) staff.
