The Killaloe Coast Guard Unit assisted four people who were on board a broken vessel in South of Killaloe Bridge today.
The vessel experienced engine difficulty and lost power, the crew deployed an anchor and called for assistance.
A boat crew launched from Pier Head Killaloe and once on scene a side by side tow was set up.
The vessel was then taken on tow back to Ballina slipway where a shore team were waiting to assist in the safe mooring of the vessel.
A short time later the vessel was recovered from the water.
