Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of road traffic collision outside Tipperary Town.
A single vehicle collision occurred on the N24 between the town and Bansha at Lacken at 3:40am.
The collision occurred approximately 3km from Tipperary Town towards Waterford this morning and involved a car.
A woman aged in her late teens was taken to University Hospital Limerick to be treated for serious injuries. A man aged in his early 20s was taken to St Joseph’s hospital Clonmel to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The road is currently closed and local diversions are in place.
Expect heavy traffic in the area.
