Gardaí caught a motorist driving over the double the speed limit in Co Tipperary.
Templemore Roads Policing Unit detected the car travelling at 121km/h in a 60km/h zone yesterday.
The driver was issued with Fixed Charged Penalty Notices.
The force is urging people to please slow down, especially for the upcoming Bank Holiday weekend.
