206 complaints were made to the local authority relating to alleged dog attacks since 2016 in Co. Tipperary.
Figures seen by the Irish Independent shows that dozens of attacks are happening every year which involve a range of breeds.
Some of the incidents in the Premier County came from breeds such as Jack Russell, bulldog, Japanese akita and Rottweiler.
Separately in February Gardaí in Cashel along with the assistance of Tipperary County Council Dog Warden seizing an Akita dog.
It follows reports in the town of a Japanese Akita attacking small dogs in the town over the last number of months.
The dog was taken into care and at the time the force thanked the public for their assistance throughout this investigation.
