A high risk fire warning is in place for Co. Tipperary and the rest of the country.
The orange status is being issued by the Department of Agriculture which says it is valid from now until Friday at noon. (April 29th)
This is in place arising from weather patterns and expected level of risk.
People are advised not the light fires near forests or open land and to remove smoking material correctly.
People shouldn’t attempt to intervene if a fire does break out but instead to call 999 or 112 to report the incident.
