A public meeting is to be held in the Minella Hotel tonight at 7.30pm to discuss the future of the Greyhound track in Clonmel.
The meeting is being organised by the current management – Davis Road Greyhound Stadium Ltd and all are welcome
The venue has struggled commercially in recent years and is understood to have had extensive engagement with Greyhound Racing Ireland over the past number of months with the aim of ensuring the long-term viability of Clonmel Racecourse.
A new lease was to be put in place in recent months as both parties worked to address historical debt issues.
