Daffodil Day organisers in Tipperary town have revealed that to date the event for 2022 has raised over €14,000.
The organisers are thanking all those that donated daffodils and helped at distribution points at the Post Office, Supervalu, Tesco, Dunnes Stores and the Market Yard.
The organisers have also thanked the Marian Hall for the use of the facility as a collection and distribution point.
Funds raised on Daffodil Day will go towards the development of life-changing cancer research as well as providing vital cancer support services to patients and their families co-ordinated by the Irish Cancer Society.
