Multi-Agencies Respond To Incident In Co. Tipp

A incident involving an multi-ageny response took place in Co. Tipperary yesterday.

The casualty with a leg injury near Dolla needed assistance.

Irish Coast Guard Rescue helicopter Rescue 115 from Shannon was tasked to the scene and the causality was transferred by Coast Guard and Fire personnel to the waiting helicopter.

The rescue involved Nenagh Fire Brigade, Killaloe Coast Guard Unit, Rescue 115, National Ambulance Service (NAS) and An Garda Síochána.

The person was airlifted and taken to University Hospital Limerick.
