20 projects across County Tipperary are to get a share of the €4 million allocated nationwide under the Built Heritage Investment Scheme.
In total, 512 projects nationwide are to receive funding.
This funding will allow for conservation works to built heritage to help safeguard it for future generations.
The highest sums in County Tipperary were €10,000 to mitigate damp in Knocklofty House, Clonmel and €10,000 to Deerpark House in Mullagh to address structural stability.
St. Paul’s Church in Cahir is to receive €7,400 to address damp issues while Cahir Presbyterian Church is to get €3,500 for conservation and protection works on a historic glass window.
The parochial house in Borrisokane and 15 Anne Street, Clonmel were awarded €9,000 each for roof repairs.
The maximum amount available for any one project was €15,000.
