The Russian offensive in Ukraine is continuing today (Tuesday), bringing the fighting into its sixth day as Russian military continue to enter the country.
Satellite images show a huge convoy of Russian forces heading towards the capital, Kyiv.
This morning, there was extensive shelling of the second city of Ukraine, Kharkiv, where dozens of civilians were killed.
At the same time, Russian and Ukrainian delegates were meeting on the border with Belarus, however there was no indication of progress in the peace talks.

Some cities are facing food shortages as production and deliveries were disrupted.

They will also discuss ways in which to help Ukrainian refugees coming into Ireland.
