Gardaí are investigating an assault that took place at a property on Sarsfield Street in Nenagh.
The incident occurred at approximately 5pm this evening. (Sunday)
A man in his 40s has been taken to University Hospital Limerick to be treated for his injuries.
A female in her 40s has been arrested in relation to this incident.
She is currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Nenagh Garda station.
