A pilot scheme to introduce age friendly bikes has been announced for Cahir.
Cahir Tidy Towns will be the host in conjunction with the local authority and Tipp Sports Partnership.
Cllr Andy Moloney says it will enable some of our older and those with mobility issues to see the parks with the help of a list of volunteer pilots who will be trained and vetted before we get into operation.
Mr Moloney says the finer details are to be sorted out but hopefully before the summer we will be up and cycling.
The Cahir based councillor will be recruiting a list of volunteers as soon as we can sort out a flyer and training details.
