Revised plans for a solar farm at Rathduff, near Thomastown have been submitted to Tipperary County Council.
The application covers the site area of almost 43 acres.
The application seeks permission for ground mounted solar panels, a single-story substation a transformer, electrical cabling, CCTV with some additional landscaping and habitat enhancement.
The development is proposed to be operational for 35 years.
The revised plans include amendments to the site boundary.
The application is submitted in the name of RES Ltd., or Renewable Energy Systems. The company currently has several other solar developments in Ireland.
