Almost 60 adults in Tipperary are accessing emergency accommodation according to latest figures from the Department of Housing.
While in the South East region which includes the Premier County along with Carlow, Kilkenny, Waterford and Wexford 23 families are homeless which includes 35 children.
The majority of homeless in the South East are aged between 25 and 44 years old.
Nationally 6587 people are homeless while 2563 children are living in emergency accommodation.
