Public Health Mid West is advising the people of North Tipperary to avail of the flu vaccine.
The local department says there’s now evidence that influenza is circulating in the community.
It’s expected the virus will increase as socialising resumes to normal levels following the easing of covid restrictions.
A number of people can receive the flu jab free including the over 50s, those with long term illness, 2 to 17 year old and pregnant women.
