A meeting of the regional health forum for the south will take place on Thursday in Ballincolling.
The forum has 39 members of which 21 are councillors. Cashel Councillor Declan Burgess is the current Chairperson.
The meeting on Thursday will be given an update on Connecting for Life, Irelands National Strategy to Reduce Suicide 2015.
There are also 7 motions for consideration including one from Cllr Richie Molloy asking that the HSE consider giving payment towards mileage for section 39 Home Care Workers due to the difficulty in recruiting staff.
While Kilkenny Councillor John Coonan is calling for an urgent report on the delivery of CAMHS in each county to be presented to the Forum following the revelations of serious deficits in CAMHS provision in south Kerry.
