Irish Water has confirmed the lifting of a Boil Water Notice on the Galtee Regional PWS in an area between Kilfeacle and Thomastown.
Remedial works in the area have been completed and following the receipt of satisfactory monitoring results, the boil water notice which has been in place is now lifted with immediate effect for all affected properties. This decision follows consultation undertaken with the Health Service Executive.
Consumers in the affected area on Galtee Regional Public Water Supply can now resume normal use of the water supply for drinking, food preparation and brushing teeth.
The Irish Water Customer Contact Centre (1800 278 278) is available to answer customer queries in relation to the lifting of this notice. The notice was first issued in October 2019.
