Several Motions To Be Discussed At Monday’s Council Meeting

Signage, repairs to footpaths, investment in water infrastructure and drivers not observing speed limits are among the topic up for discussion at Tipperary Cahir Cashel Municipal District.

Cllr John Crosse is calling for signage in Tipperary Town to be cleaned and upgraded, Cllr Ann Marie Ryan’s motion seeks an assessment and necessary repairs to the footpaths in St Michael’s Cemetery, Cllr Declan Burgess seeks investment in the water infrastructure attached to the Springmount facility due to frequent water outages , the other 5 motions in the names of Cllr Micheal Fitzgerald , Declan Burgess and Tony Black all address concerns about drivers not observing speed limits.

The motions call for traffic calming measures  in respect of the Clonmel road into Cashel, the Dualla road into Cashel, Springfield road in Tipp Town, Station road in Dundrum and a request for a 50km speed limit sign to be installed in Lisvernane on the approach road into Galbally.
