Independent TD Michael Lowry is welcoming the news that Tipperary schools are to receive €2.85 million euro to improve ventilation as part of efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Nationally the government is provided €72 million that can be used by schools and childcare services with creches getting 10 million of this funding
This funding also provides an opportunity for schools to enhance their outdoor learning environments for use as the weather permits.
