Fourteen Tipperary educational organisations are to benefit from the allocation of €94,474 euro for educational disadvantage and to support community education in the county.
The funding announced by Minister for Further and Higher Education, Simon Harris is allocated to Tipperary ETB who then distribute the funds to the successful projects.”
The 14 successful projects in Tipperary include
Knockan-rawley Resource Centre €16,228
Roscrea Youth Services €15,000
Down Syndrome Tipperary Branch €13,847
Borrisokane Reception Centre €10,000
Killaloe/Ballina Family Resource Centre €8,364
VTOS Nenagh €7950
Tipperary Community Services Centre €6697
Most of the funding will be used to get extra equipment like Laptops, Bags, secure storage units and music equipment.
