Tipperary Town is set to get up to 30 full, part time and seasonal jobs with the confirmation that discount retailer Dealz is to open in the town.
It is understood that the company will operate from the former Dan Dooley facility on the Limerick Road, which is currently undergoing refurbishment works to turn it from a car showroom into a retail facility.
The works have an expected completion date of November 20th.
Dealz is the second discount retail outlet to open in Tipperary Town in recent months following the opening of the Mr Price store at the Sky Innovation Park in August.
Dan Dooley Group continues to operate their Ford dealership from their premises in Knocklong, Co. Limerick.
Dealz is a subsidiary of UK retailer Poundland and sells a wide range of products from cleaning, household accessories pet care and snacks.
