The Dan Dooley Group has announced their intention to leave Tipperary town after operating in the town since 2005. The group intend to expand their headquarters in Knocklong and provide all services at that location – approx. 15 minutes from Tipperary town.
Dan Dooley group have been in operation for almost 60 years had has had a Ford Dealership in Knocklong since 1995. The business has noted that the motor trade has seen many changes in the most recent 18 months and that with the move to Hybrid and Electric Vehicles the industry will continue to evolve.
The family business will continue to be operated by James and Patrick Dooley.
There had been speculation in recent weeks that the location was to be the base for a new business in Tipperary Town with Dealz being the new operator at the Limerick Road location.
