Tipperary Town Revitalisation Task Force is to receive finding from the Creative Ireland fund to make a video highlighting the Heritage & “Hidden Gems” of the town. This funding was applied for through the Heritage Sub-Group, led my Mary-Alice O’Connor, Heritage & Tourism Nominee on the Task Force.
Local historian, Des Marnane, has agreed to write the script and do the voice-over, working with videographer, Caleb Barrett. The project will commence once Covid restrictions allow, and will be linked to the Tipperary Town website (www.tipperarytown.ie).
Creative Ireland funds are administered through the Heritage Office of Tipperary County Council.
