The Minister of State for the Office of Public Works, Patrick O’Donovan, is visiting Templemore today. The Minister is due to view the Flood Relief Scheme currently underway in Templemore. The project is to address flooding on the Borrisoloigh Road.
In July 2020, some €250,000 was allocated to Tipperary County Council from the Office of Public Works to fund the project. Flooding on the road has long been a cause for concern for the residents of two houses, in particular, and for all road users at times of heavy rainfall.
