A planning application has been lodged with Tipperary County Council for hotel accommodation in Cashel Town.
The application consists of 24 bedroom suites, with new retail and café facilities pen to the public at Moor Lane, Cashel. The development would involve refurbishments and change of use to an existing farmhouse and cow-sheds, and the replacement of an existing barn on the farm at Moor Lane, for self-contained hotel accommodation. It also entails the construction of a new, single-storey building with café restaurant and a retail facility for organic produce. A new single-storey building beside the Moor Lane entrance would provide the hotel reception. The proposed scheme includes 15 car-parking spaces on the site.
The application has been made on behalf of Trevester Unlimited Company, whose registered address is the Cashel Palace Hotel, Main Street, Cashel.
