Jackie Cahill Announces Opening Of Jigsaw Mental Health Support Centre in Thurles

The Jigsaw Mental Health Support Centre for young people is set to open in Thurles in the coming months. Deputy Jackie Cahill reports that following an update from Minister Mary Butler, the lease has been finalised on a premises and some minor fit-out woks are to be completed.

Deputy Cahill said that recruitment of the local Thurles-based team is almost complete, and that all services are already available online through Jigsaw’s social media platforms, their website, and on 01-472-7010, before the centre officially opens this spring.

The facility will be located in the Tipperary Technology Park, Nenagh Road, Thurles. Deputy Cahill said that the lease was signed on 5th February, and that some minor fit-out works have to be carried out, and Jigsaw is currently going through the required procurement procedures to get that underway and concluded as soon as possible.
