A stop/go system system is in place on Davitt Street, Tipperary Town, as contractors for Tipperary County Council are repairing manhole covers which have been the cause of considerable disruption to local residents.
Several of the utility covers have been causing noise, as volumes of traffic pass through the town each day.
Tipperary County Council have undertaken to repair these noisy manhole covers over the coming weeks.
