A local crime prevention officer has reminded businesses who have closed their doors upon the government’s instructions to ensure that their security systems are effective and up-to-date.
Sgt Tom O’Dwyer was reminding people that while many things we take for granted may have ground to a halt, opportunistic crime continues.
He has advised business owners to ensure their business is secure if being closed for an extended period of time.
