Labour Party leadership candidate, Tipperary TD Alan Kelly told Tipp Mid West this morning that ‘the values of the Labour Party are solid’ and that it ‘will be back – and back strong’.
Deputy Kelly was commenting after he officially launched his leadership bid yesterday.
He maintained that Labour is continuing to suffer the consequences of the actions taken following the financial crash and that the party will have to go back to its grassroots supporters across the country and ‘reposition’ and ‘redevelop’ itself.
