Two Tipperary Town-based organisations are in the running for the 2019 County Tipperary Business Awards, which will take place on October 18th.
The awards are a celebration of County Tipperary businesses and aim to reward enterprises in the county for their good work, dedication and innovation, and also for their record of providing employment, enriching the community and helping the local economy.
These awards are divided into a number of categories, and this year’s nominees include two Tipperary Town organisations, both in the category of “Best Social Enterprise”.
In the running, this year are The Irish Wheelchair Association, located in Brodeen (Cashel Road), Tipperary Town, and Knockanrawley Resource Centre, Tipperary Town. Both organisations provide an invaluable service to the people of Tipperary Town and hinterland and are honoured to be nominated in this year’s County Tipperary Business Awards.
Judging has been completed, and the awards ceremony will be held in Clonmel Park Hotel, on Friday, 18th October, at a black-tie gala dinner.
