March4Tipp’s newly-elected county councillor has said that she is relishing the prospect of working from inside the council and trying to effect change.
Speaking after she secured a place in the 7-seat Cashel/Tipperary LEA, Annemarie Ryan said that she is approaching the challenge with optimism.
After running a campaign which promised, among other commitments, to improve council accountability and transparency, she told Tipp Mid West Radio that she intends to enable the ‘community to become more involved’ in what takes place within the council.
