Aherlow is for the first time ever, to be represented on the 25 man Ireland panel for the upcoming International Rules test against Australia on November 22nd
Ciaran McDonald will be the first ever Aherlow man to represent his country in GAA when he and the res tof his team depart for australia on November 12th.
Interestingly his neighbour Thomas Cooper Fahey made his debut for Ireland on the Junior soccer team when Ireland took on Northern Ireland in early October.
