Five festivals in County Tipperary will benefit from €15,00 in Arts Council funding, the arts agency has announced today.
The Arts Council supports local festivals throughout Ireland and this particular funding was made through round two of the Festival and Events Scheme 2013.
€3,500 is going to the Dromineer Literary Festival,
The festival celebrates writers, provides opportunities for emerging writers and hosts readings, exhibitions and writing workshops for adults and teenagers.
Seperatly Nenagh Community Arts Festival gets €4000.
The Tipperary Joint Library Committee is being allocated €1,500. The Cashel Arts Festival will recieve €3,500 and Eigse Eireann will benefit to the tune of €3,000
