Nearly one and a quarter million Euro is being provided to the South Tipperary Local Development Company by the Department of the Enviroment.
The €1,239,330 will go towards funding the Leader Elements of the Rural development Programme.
Commenting on the announcement today, local Fine Gael TD Tom Hayes said that the funding has the capacity not only to facilitate access to sustainable employment opportunities in rural areas across Co. Tipperary, but also to help support communities and enhance rural economics for business creation and development into the future.
