Gardai in Tipperary town are urging dog owners to ensure they are under control at all times after a woman was attacked earlier this week.
The incident happened on Monday morning in Ardlamon area when a woman out walking was attacked by two dogs said to be Rotweiller-cross breeds.
Gardai and the dog warden were called to the incident and the dogs were taken away.
The woman received some injuries to her legs and arms.
Gardai are appealing to anyone with dogs, especially those with a propensity towards agression, to ensure they are under control monitored and kept in an enclosed environment.
