It has emerged that the guideline number of septic tank inspections that will take place in Co Tipperary this year is 39.
The details are contained within a report submitted by the Enviromental protection agency to local authorities across the country.
The document provides a list of the minimum number of inspections to be carried out in each county this year out of a total of 1000 for the entire country.
39 are allocated for Co Tipperary with 50 for Co Limerick and 16 for Co Waterford.
