Co Tipperary consumers are being advised to shop around after a new survey found substantial differences in the prices charged for prescription drugs.
The study was carried out by the National Consumers Association
The survey dealt with 39 commonly prescribed medicines and found that the different prices across many pharmacies throughout the country means shoppers need to compare prices, particularly those on long term medication.
