Co. Tipperary farmers are being invited to two grower information meetings in Kilkenny and Cork as part of a programme to redevelop the Irish sugar industry.
According to Fine Gael TD Noel Coonan the meetings will brief growers on the current status of the CAP negotiations, including Ireland’s re-entry to sugar production. The critical stages of these negotiations into the future will also be outlined as will the work already done.
The Kilkenny meeting takes place this Thursday, February 28th at Cillian Hill Event Centre while the Cork meeting takes place at the Vienna Woods Hotel in Glanmire.
