Most Irish towns now cleaner.

Most Irish towns and cities are now cleaner than the European average according to the latest IBAL anti litter report.

More than 80% of Ireland's towns are as clean as the European average with Kilkenny getting top spot.

However, Dublin's north inner city was again labelled a litter blackspot. In Co Tipperary, Clonmel is in tenth place being described as cleaner than European norms. Tipperary Town has also improved and is now being described as being clean to European norms.
