It is being reported that 18 retail buildings which made up Market Place in Clonmel have been sold at auction today.
The units, nine of which are vacant, had a reserve price of €900,000 and it is believed they sold for just above that amount.
The auction, being run by agent Allsop, is dealing with distressed commercial properties across the country.
That property had a reserve price of €195,000 and is also said to have sold for just above that price.
