A public meeting highlighting the ongoing campaign to get 22 beds reinstated at the Hospital of the Assumption in Thurles will take place on Thurs 4th Oct.
The campaign stems from the closure of 22 beds at the hospital last year. The Hospital of the Assumption Action Group is demanding that the Minister for Health James Reilly honour a commitment they say he gave in November to reinstate the beds.
Thursday's meeting will take place at the Tipperary Institute in Thurles from 7.45pm. Local TDs as well as opposition spokespersons on Health will be in attendance.
