A search operation resumed this morning after a speedboat was found upturned on Lough Derg last night.
The vessel was spotted at around 9.30pm last night near Garrykennedy.
The boat is reported to have been extensively damaged, the type of which is consistant with having been done while the boat was travelling.
The search team do not know if anyone was onboard when it capsized and there has as yet not been any reports of anyone being un-accounted for.
**UPDATE** the body of a man has been recovered has been recovered from Lough Derg close to where the speedboat was discovered at 8pm on Friday night.
