Nine cars were broken into in Dundrum last night during training at the Knockavilla/Kickhams GAA club.
A number of items were taken during the incident, including wallets and mobile phones. Cars were also damaged and around €700 is estimated to have been taken.
The thefts happpened between 7.30pm and 9pm while training was going on.
Gardai in Tipperary town are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at the time, or may have any information to contact them on 062 80670.
Gardai are also warning people not to leave items of value in their cars while they are left unattended.
The thefts in Dundrum follow a number of similar incidents in other sports grounds in recent times.
